A magical dream world of performance, light and sound presented as part of NewcastleGateshead's Winter Festival 2007

Artistic Director Geraldine Pilgrim's Enchanted Parks will see Newcastle's Leazes Park and Gateshead's Saltwell Park
brought to life with atmospheric installations, light, sound and mesmerising live performances.

Geraldine Pilgrim and her team are inspired by "the quiet beauty which pervades the parks at night, when nature seems to take over again and the sleeping parks begin to dream."

Her dreamlike visions of the parks' history will magically transform the landscapes making this walk in the park a truly memorable experience as the winter night will come alive with haunting, evocative and intriguing images.
